For most of my life, I’ve dreamed of racing. For me, that dream took life after graduating college. The opportunity arose to start racing drag bikes. Soon thereafter, my rankings progressed and I decided to build my own ProMod bike. In 1997, I entered the professional class and continued racing on that level until 2001.

 

   When I decided to re-enter the racing world, I followed my dad’s love- drag boats. As a family team, we began looking for a boat in 2012. From there, I began drag boat racing in 2014. We have two boats now- “Haulin’ Glass” and “Excessive Force”. We are looking forward to a successful 2021 racing season. -Tip Draffen
